About Me

Ashley Remminga is a graduate researcher in Global Cultures and Languages at the University of Tasmania. My research explores queer and, in particular, transgender and gender-diverse participation and engagement within popular culture and fandom. My current research explores how gender-diverse individuals consume and form meanings through genderbending anime and manga.
